Landon J. Napoleon is an award-winning, critically acclaimed author of both fiction and nonfiction, known for bringing untold stories to life. For each project, I collaborate closely with Landon to design book covers that reflect not only the author as a person, but also the emotional core and thematic depth of each story. The result is a diverse collection of covers, each tailored to the unique voice, genre, and message of the book it represents.

A book’s cover is often the very first impression an indie author makes, so it has to work hard right away. Good design instantly communicates mood, genre, and professionalism, helping readers, reviewers, and retailers connect with the story before opening the book. I enjoy using design as a storytelling tool—making intentional visual choices that hint at themes and emotion. One highlight from this work was the cover for Mentality, which was selected for Cover Crush, a feature that celebrates indie covers that capture story, meaning, and mood beyond simple shelf appeal.
