AASTEC
AASTEC serves all 27 American Indian communities within the Indian Health Service Albuquerque Area, spanning New Mexico, Southern Colorado, West Texas, and Southeastern Utah. I partner closely with their team to design outreach and educational materials that communicate important health information in a way that is clear, culturally respectful, and accessible to the communities they serve.
My design approach honors Native American heritage through thoughtful use of rich color palettes, meaningful graphic elements and icons, and photography that reflects Native people and the landscapes surrounding their communities. These visuals are carefully balanced to ensure the messaging remains the focus while feeling welcoming and relevant to all members. Together, we create print and educational materials that raise awareness around cancer prevention and testing, child safety, vaccines, and other critical health topics—designing with care, respect, and impact at the forefront.
